VIDA! science centre
Launch a hydrogen rocket, star in the TV weather report, freeze your own shadow, experience an earthquake, set free a tornado, and get to the bottom of the Bermuda Triangle – that is what you can experience in the science amusement VIDA park! You can find more than 180 interactive exhibits in the area of nearly 7000 m2 in former D pavilion of the Brno trade fairs complex. Ocean in a bottle, bicycle on the rope, a rotating room, a giant heart, 3G simulator – these are just examples of exhibits that the visitors can try so as to better understand the world around us. The associated program includes e.g. performances full of scientific experiments, special Sunday programs for families with children or 3D films projections.

Tours
The exposition is divided into 4 thematic units (planet, civilization, human and micro world) and one independent section the science centre for children. The complete exposition tour takes approximately 3 hours. Together with the main exposition, our visitors can see regular performances full of experiments, so called science shows or temporary exhibitions. The tour is not guided. An individual guide may be arranged for tours ordered at least 6 weeks in advance. There are our VIDA experts in each part of the expositions, ready to answer your questions and give advice on how to handle the individual exhibits. Czech, English and German depictions can be found in the whole exhibition.

Trip without barriers
The whole object is barrier-free. Handicapped drivers can park their cars on a reserved lot just in front of the building. An entry to the building for handicapped visitors can be found just below the main entry (everything is indicated) and you can ring the cash desk staff. There are lifts and several toilets for disabled in the building.
